Singapore Arts Fest with Najip Ali & Sheila Majid

Najip Ali, best known across Asia as the funky host of talent show Asia Bagus, is above all an entertainer - edgy, irreverent and always exciting. With a vision to unite and entertain the Malay speaking countries in South East Asia, Najip will take on Malay pop culture with his usual high energy performance in the Singapore Art Fest. In addition to that, he will also take a dig at TV and redefine the talk show genre beyond what is normally seen on TV. Joining Najip in this Arts Fest is our very own Malaysia's singing sensation Sheila Majid.

Ratu... A Mother's Day Celebration

To recognize the sacrifice and importance of all mothers, the 'happening' JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur will organize its very first Mother's Day Dinner Celebration on the 8th of May 2005. Sheila Charms Secretaries (and loyal fans)

Organized by the Quality Hotel, the recent Secretaries Luncheon was attended by more than 500 loyal Sheila fans who came in full force to catch her in action. It was dubbed a 'Magical' afternoon by many of her fans as it was filled with Sheila's evergreen and latest songs from her Cinta Kita album. Take a peek at some of these exclusive photos here.

A Force of Nature

The Force of Nature concert, to be held on March 18 at Stadium Putra in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, will include major local performers and artistes from Hong Kong, India, China and the United States. Fans of major acts like Black Eyed Peas, Boyz II Men and Backstreet Boys will have the chance to catch them in concert and at the same time help rebuild countries affected by the Dec 26 tsunami.

"I AM A FORCE OF NATURE" is our rallying cry. Sheila Majid together with other Malaysian artists will perform and do their part in this campaign to educate and empower people throughout the world with the belief that every individual can make a diffrence in the long-term aid to tsunami-affected countries. The centerpiece of this effort is a multi-artist benefit concert aimed to raise funds and motivate a worldwide audience to act now and continue to do so for years to come.

Sheila Sings Lullaby

Would you like Sheila to sing lullabies to your love ones or even to yourself? Well, here's your chance to get pampered. Organized by Nespray and Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, this is a special campaign to enhance mother-child bond and nurture this lullaby heritage. You will get to listen to the lullabies on THR, the official radio station and watch the video featured on TV3's Wanita Hari Ini, throughout the month of March.

This is the first ever campaign of lullabies, collectively known as "Dodoi" and Sheila sings 2 beautiful dodoi songs, Oh Bulan and Tidurlah Sayang. Other artist featured in this project are Ziana Zain, Fauziah Latiff, Amy Mastura and Dayang Nurfaizah.

Indonesia Gives Thanks To The World

The spontaneous and immediate reaction of Indonesia’s neighbouring countries, followed by massive world assistance has touched the hearts of many Indonesians throughout the Republic. How does a nation devastated emotionally by a natural calamity really show its appreciation? PT. Metropolitan Magnum Indonesia, in collaboration with The Social Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia believe that ‘MUSIC & SONG’ clearly relays a sincere message, and have organized a charity concert. A special significance of the concert is the joining of hands of renowned artistes from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea. Our very own Diva, Sheila Majid has been invited to grace this special occasion.
